With Matt as Your Officiant, Every Couple Receives:
A phone or face-to-face session in which Matt helps you customize and tailor-make your ceremony using language and elements that fit your preferences and needs (usually 1-2 hours)
A phone or face-to-face session with each member of the couple in which Matt learns more about your relationship, informing him of how to best personalize the words spoken in the ceremony for you (usually 30-45 minutes per person)
Writing and collaborating with the couple to create the script for your ceremony
Officiating your hand-crafted wedding ceremony
Completion and return of marriage license (BONUS: Matt will hand-deliver all licenses obtained in Marin and Sonoma County to County Clerk's office following the ceremony)
Pricing for Above Services: $750
Additional Services for Your Ceremony:
Couples may wish to add one or all of the following to the services listed above:
Rehearsal: Matt will attend and/or lead a rehearsal for the ceremony on a date prior to the wedding.
Pricing: An additional cost of $200 will be added to Above Services.

Vow Writing and Presentation Coaching: If the couple wishes to exchange original vows and would like guidance in doing so, Matt will share his years of teaching public speaking and expository writing to work with one or each member of the couple to help them in crafting, editing, and practicing the exchange of their vows. Includes a face-to-face or phone brainstorming session (approx. 30 minutes), edits of up to three drafts, and a 30-minute in-person practice session.
Pricing: An additional cost of $250 per person (or $400 per couple) will be added to the Above Services, plus $80 for each additional hour of practice sessions and edits.

Travel: Matt will travel anywhere to officiate a wedding! Any wedding to which Matt needs to travel more than 4 hours (round trip from California's North Bay Area) will require an additional travel cost.
Pricing: Exact amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis between Matt and the couple.
Toast Coaching for Wedding Party
Wedding Toast Writing and Performance Coaching: Do you know a best man, maid of honor, father of the bride, or any member of the wedding party who is nervous or unsure about their speech? Matt offers his years of experience teaching public speaking and creative and expository writing to help put their (and your) minds at ease. Includes a face-to-face or phone coaching and brainstorming session (approx. 30 minutes), edits of up to three drafts, and a 50-minute in-person practice session.
Pricing: $300 per person, plus $80 for each additional hour of practice sessions and edits.

Wedding Toast Speech Practice: Does someone in your wedding party already have a speech written, but needs someone to review it and help them practice giving it? Matt offers his years of experience teaching public speaking and creative and expository writing to help them (and you) perfect their toast. Includes one editing consultation via email and an in-person practice session.
Pricing: $80 per hour with a ninety-minute minimum.
Wedding Officiant Coaching
These days, more and more couples are choosing a close friend or family member to be their wedding officiant -that is exactly how Matt got started! Brand new officiants may need help preparing for your ceremony, and that is where Matt can help with Officiant Coaching! Matt will not only help your officiant create your customized ceremony, but will also provide guidance as a knowledgeable and experienced officiant so they can effectively coordinate with other weddings professionals for your ceremony, rehearsal, and any other events you may need them to lead!
Full Wedding Officiant Coaching Package: Matt will work with your Wedding Officiant, starting with a blank page and ending with them being completely prepared to officiate your wedding and work as a team with the other wedding professionals on your big day. Includes: An initial brainstorming session with Matt in which he provides resources for creating a wedding ceremony that truly reflects the couple (approx. 50 mins); a 60-minute, face-to-face editing session in which Matt reviews the ceremony draft providing feedback and suggestions for success; edits of up to three drafts of ceremony scripts via online correspondence; and a 90-minute practice session, which also includes tips and crucial advice for effectively officiating a wedding.
Pricing: $400, plus an additional $100 per hour for extra practice sessions and edits.
